Howdy. Welcome to my "about me" page. It's not fancy, but it does tell you everything you need to know about me. That's why I call it my "about me" page.
In case you missed it, my name is Tom. I'm 42 years old, currently living in Hayward, California which is a suburb of well, it's a part of the San Francisco bay area..
I used to live in Galena, Illinois, and before that, San Francisco, California. I'm a native Californian, and I've returned from a sojourn in the midwest back to California, where I was born and raised. However, I really enjoyed my time in Galena and I'm sure I'll return for many a visit when I can.
I'm currently working with my friend Jane running a store here in Hayward. I'm half owner in the business and it keeps me busy. My previous employment history is on my resume.
I'm
one of 9 children. My parents and most of my siblings live in Southern California.

I have one brother who lives in Colorado, another in San Francisco,
everyone else is in Southern California.
I'm
currently living with my friend Dan and Katie(the cat) in a small two
bedroom apartment in Hayward. Katie is the cutest thing and knows it.
Beatrice decided that she couldn't get along with her new roommate, so
she's now living outside and spends some of her time next door with the
neighbors as well. Penny is also a neighborhood cat who used to live inside
next door, until she was put outside, as she has problems marking her
territory and it isn't a pretty thing for her to be doing inside. I have
a wide and varied assortment of computers all hooked up to our AT&T
cable modem, a nice little DirecTV dish and a TiVo in the living room.
For transportation, I drive an old 1992 Mazda MPV minivan (think soccermom!)
that I bought from my mom. It is the best car I've ever owned, since it
has two things that former vehicles in my ownership never had at the same
time, an automatic transmission and air conditioning. I'm quite happy
with it and I'll probably drive it into the ground, for sure. Dan
and I had an assortment of pets that we gathered during our years together
as a couple while we lived in San Francisco. I currently have a grey shorthair
cat, Bea as well as Katie, who was obtained from the animal shelter in
Hayward. We had an orange and white tabby, Toto, until he passed away.

I haven't gotten around to adding a page for Katie, but like all good
cat lovers, that'll come in time.
